Emmerdale airs two major secrets exposed for Tate family in early ITVX release
Today’s episode of Emmerdale picks up off the back of yesterday’s epic cliffhanger, which saw Joe Tate (Ned Porteous) desperately try to stop his fiancée Dawn Fletcher (Olivia Bromley) from fleeing.
Dawn was attempting to start a new life away from the eponymous village, having realised that she can’t continue to scheme against the multi-millionaire.
She was seeking revenge with assistance from the Dingle clan, who had been badly burnt by Joe. He’d blackmailed Robert Sugden (Ryan Hawley) into planting passports of enslaved workers in Moira Dingle’s (Natalie J Robb) living room, which led to her spending months in prison for human trafficking.
By the time she was released, he’d took control of her farm, and cut down the memorial tree for her daughter Holly.
Dawn was planning to sit tight, go through with her marriage to Joe, and then rinse him of his fortune. However, when he started doting over her and their unborn baby, she began to question whether she was making the right decision.

Joe had become privy to her plot, and in order to make her stay, has finally come to the conclusion that he can’t hide anymore secrets from her.
In tense scenes, he explained that at Christmas 2024, he returned to the Home Farm manor house and discovered that Dawn’s dad Will was planning to financially destroy and kill Kim Tate (Claire King).
A furious row erupted, and Will fell to the floor, clutching his chest. Kim initially thought that he was faking the heart attack to escape the consequences of his actions, but by the time she called 999, he’d passed away.

Dawn was stunned, and Joe realised that for the first time in his life, he’d been truly honest with her.
Meanwhile, Graham Foster (Andrew Scarborough) was spilling his own revelations. He revealed to Kim that he was the one who’d tried to kill her earlier this year.
As viewers will recall, Kim collapsed with suspected mushroom poisoning during a dinner with the Dingles, though it soon transpired in hospital that she’d overdosed on painkillers.

Graham admitted that his hurt towards her had subsided, and that he no longer wanted to kill her. She managed to find a more humorous side to the situation – probably due to the fact that she resented him in a similar way – and the two laughed it off in the kitchen.
Joe was in disbelief to see them joking around, and Graham explained that he’d taken on board the value of honesty.
