BYE BYE EastEnders shock as Albert Square resident unexpectedly leaves his wife and children and exits the show

EASTENDERS’ viewers were left feeling shocked as an Albert Square resident unexpectedly left his wife and children and exited the show.

As Vicki Fowler finally admitted to cheating on Ross with Zack at the altar, an emotional break-up was happening elsewhere in the square.

 

Last month, viewers saw Priya Nandra-Hart and Ravi Gulati end their relationship whilst he was in a mental health unit receiving treatment for PTSD.

However, in last night’s episode, as Priya prepared to head to Vicki and Ross’s wedding, she was shocked when Ravi walked in the door.

He told her he had done a lot work to understand himself and sparks flew between them again – but there was heartbreak on its way.

In tonight’s episode, a shocked Priya found Ravi packing a bag shortly after they slept together.

He explained that he was leaving Walford, and that he had written this in a letter that Priya had never opened.

Ravi explained that he needed to set her free so that he could continue healing on his own after his time in the mental health unit.

He then told a heartbroken Priya that he thought she knew his return was just to say goodbye and asked her not to make things harder.

Priya exclaimed: “Sorry, hard is healing yourself then jumping in the next cab.

Ravi explained: “I’m not healed. I’m not healed. Nowhere near it.”

Priya begged him to stay with her and offered to help him but Ravi said she’d be much happier without him.

“There must be a way we can make this work,” begged Priya.

As Ravi stood at the door with his bags she declared that if he walked out their relationship would be over for good.

“I’m sorry,” said Ravi as he walked out with his bags and left Priya sobbing behind.
