EastEnders‘ Oscar Branning and Josh Goodwin will be caught out next week after sparking up a romance behind Jasmine Fisher’s back. The pair panic when their secret is discovered by Kat Moon. But will she keep quiet for the sake of her family?

Oscar found himself in a nightmare love triangle this year, when he realised that the man he slept with was, in fact, the estranged twin of his girlfriend Jasmine. Despite their connection, Oscar chose to rekindle his relationship with Jasmine, and he and Josh agreed to be friends.

Last month, Josh and Oscar slept together again, after being unable to deny their feelings for each other. Though Oscar has been trying to keep his distance, upcoming episodes confirm the pair’s unfinished business.

Next week, Oscar tries to have the best of both worlds, as he splits his time between both twins. After hearing Josh’s version their foster dad’s death, he questions Jasmine for the truth, but receives a slap.

Meanwhile, Kat tries to bring her family together by planning a birthday dinner for her granddaughter. Jasmine reluctantly agrees to attend, but only if Josh is invited too.

Still reeling from Jasmine’s slap, hurt Oscar seeks comfort from Josh and they share a secret kiss. But unbeknownst to them, horrified Kat sees them through the window.

The pair receive a stern talking to from the pub landlady who threatens Oscar to stay away from both her grandchildren. Later, Kat tells Alfie about her discovery and they decided to keep quiet to spare Jasmine’s feelings.

Meanwhile, Jasmine is heartbroken when Oscar declines her party invitation, believing it’s because of their earlier spat. Josh also decides against attending, but after a pep talk from Zoe, both young men agree to come.

“There are some rather tense scenes ahead upstairs in The Vic!” warns our insider. “Kat has discovered Oscar and Josh’s betrayal, but she doesn’t want to ruin the family occasion by spilling the beans to Jasmine.

“But as everyone gathers to celebrate the twins’ birthday, will this secret remain under wraps for long?”
