A MOTHER’S WORST NIGHTMARE: CORONATION STREET UNVEILS CATASTROPHIC NEW CRISIS AS FIZ AND TYRONE FEAR FOR HOPE
A fresh heap of worries is placed on Fiz and Tyrone Dobbs’ doorstep when daughter Hope develops a new crush. Things are set to become complicated as Hope seemingly develops feelings for Will Driscoll following his traumatic experience of grooming and abuse at the hands of Megan Walsh.
In scenes set to air next week, Hope reveals to Will that she saw him with Megan, despite him having plucked up the courage to report her to the police, and urges him to tell his dad.

As Will picks up his coat, a note falls from his pocket, and he sees that it is Megan’s new mobile phone number as she continues to attempt to manipulate the teen.

The following day, Hope suggests to Will that the pair revise together, and Ruby tells Fiz that Hope fancies Will.
In light of the turmoil in Will’s life, Fiz advises Hope not to get involved, but she goes ahead and meets up with him for their English revision.
Eva Price listens to the pair together, pleased to hear them getting along as Hope compares Will’s love life to that of Romeo and Juliet.
But when Fiz shows up, will it burst Hope’s bubble, and will she heed her parents’ advice?
“Fiz and Tyrone have nothing against Will after everything he’s been through – they just don’t want Hope to be involved in it,” explains our Corrie source.
“Hope’s had her fair share of troubles over the years, so Fiz and Tyrone are keen to keep her on stable ground.
“We all know that Hope has an independent mind, though, and will do exactly what she wants! Are Fiz and Tyrone fighting a losing battle?”
Hope was taken aback to see Will sitting alone on a bench near the playground, his eyes red and swollen after another argument with his father. Despite trying to appear strong, Will was clearly still haunted by everything related to Megan Walsh and the hurt she had caused. But for Hope, that only made her want to be with him even more.
In scenes airing next week, Hope proactively approaches Will after school and asks if he’s okay. Initially, Will tries to avoid her, insisting he doesn’t need anyone’s pity, but Hope doesn’t give up.
“You don’t have to pretend in front of me,” Hope says gently. “After everything that’s happened, anyone would be struggling.”
Those words seemed to soften Will’s heart. He confessed that since reporting Megan to the police, everything in his life had become chaotic. His friends looked at him strangely, and at home, Ed tried to protect his son but unintentionally made Will feel more controlled.

Meanwhile, Fiz began to realize Hope was spending too much time with Will. Seeing her daughter constantly texting and smiling to herself, Fiz immediately became suspicious.
At the cafe, Ruby inadvertently revealed that Hope had told her that Will was “the only one who understands her.” This only increased Fiz’s worries.
“Hope always gets caught up in complicated situations,” Fiz confided to Tyrone. “She thinks she can save everyone, but ends up hurting herself.”
Tyrone agreed that Will wasn’t a bad person, especially after what he’d been through, but he also worried that Hope was being too emotional. They decided to have a serious talk with their daughter before things went too far.
However, Hope reacted angrily when her parents suggested she stay away from Will for a while.
“You always think I’ll cause trouble!” Hope retorted angrily. “Will needs someone by his side. Everyone’s turned their backs on him.”
Meanwhile, Will continues to receive mysterious messages from Megan. Despite being under police investigation, Megan continues to manipulate him psychologically by claiming that no one truly trusts Will except her.
When Will’s phone rings while he’s studying with Hope in the library, Hope accidentally sees Megan’s name on the screen. The atmosphere immediately becomes tense.
“She’s still in contact with you?” Hope asks, clearly shocked.
Will quickly turns off his phone and insists he hasn’t replied to any messages, but Hope notices his hands are trembling. This makes her realize that Megan still has a significant influence on Will’s psyche.

After class, Hope advises Will to block Megan’s number and tell his father the truth. However, Will confesses that he feels ashamed and afraid of being seen as weak.
“You’re not weak,” Hope said firmly. “Megan is the one who’s wrong.”
Hope’s words of encouragement seemed to give Will a rare glimmer of hope. But not everyone was happy to see the two growing closer.
After hearing from Ruby that Hope had skipped a family gathering to meet Will, Fiz became furious and decided to confront her daughter. When she entered the apartment and saw Hope and Will laughing on the sofa, the atmosphere immediately froze.
Hope was upset that her mother had humiliated her in front of Will, while Fiz insisted she only wanted to protect her daughter from a potentially emotionally dangerous situation.
“You don’t understand how complicated things are,” Fiz warned.
But Hope immediately retorted, “No, you don’t understand! Will needs someone to trust him.”
Will felt extremely awkward by the argument and quickly left, leaving Hope angrily watching her mother go.
That evening, Tyrone tried to mediate between mother and daughter. He acknowledged Hope’s kind heart, but reminded her that helping others wasn’t always her responsibility.
Despite this, Hope secretly texted Will and suggested they meet the next day.
Meanwhile, Will began to rely on Hope more and more. After a nightmare involving Megan, he called Hope in the middle of the night, and she immediately rushed out to meet him. They sat talking for hours on a deserted street, and the moment Will took Hope’s hand made everything clearer than ever.
But would this budding romance truly be good for them?
Corrie’s source said: “Hope believes she can help Will move on from his past, but that puts a lot of pressure on her.
“Fiz and Tyrone see the danger ahead. They don’t hate Will — they just fear Hope will be drawn into the wounds he hasn’t yet dealt with.” “The problem is that the more Hope is stopped, the more determined she becomes to do what she wants. And as long as Megan hasn’t completely disappeared from Will’s life, things could get extremely complicated.”
