Coronation Street spoilers see dark twist finally exposed after Theo’s murder
Coronation Street is set to expose a dark secret on the cobbles next week following Theo Silverton’s murder.
Just last month, the ITV soap aired a special murder week – with the episodes revisiting the same day, but each one was seen from the perspective of a different potential victim.
It was eventually revealed that evil Theo, who had been abusing and manipulating husband Todd Grimshaw for months, was the victim and had been murdered.
Coronation Street has since revealed the six suspects for Theo’s murder as they will face intense scrutiny from the police over the next few weeks.
The suspects are Theo’s estranged husband Todd, George Shuttleworth, Gary Windass, Summer Spellman, George’s partner Christina Boyd and Theo’s ex-wife Danielle Silverton.
Meanwhile, a dark secret is finally revealed through a series of flashbacks, showing exactly what this person saw and did, and the complex web of guilt and fear that has led to them concealing the truth.
In the lead up to the dark secret being revealed, Theo’s family plan for his funeral as Danielle pays for Theo’s funeral flowers. Florist Tracy Barlow starts to speculate that Danielle must be in line for a decent inheritance to which George suggests a motive for murder.
Elsewhere, Todd takes a call and receives shocking news. The next day, Todd tells best friend Sarah Platt, who he is staying with, that he won’t be attending Theo’s funeral.
As a result, Danielle publicly accuses Todd of murdering Theo for his life insurance. When Mary Taylor comes to Todd’s defence and suggests she perhaps murdered Theo herself, a furious Danielle leaves.
Following the confrontation, Ryan Connor follows Danielle out and reveals he recognises her from the murder night.
Later, Ryan voices his suspicions about Danielle to DS Lisa Swain, who takes her in for questioning. Could Danielle be the new prime suspect in Theo’s murder?
